A highlight of our summer is being at the lake on the 4th of July. There are so many things to look forward to but one of the highlights is celebrating the 4th with our own fireworks show.
Grammy usually finds the grand kids matching outfits for the evening of fun! You can see in Alexa's eyes she wasn't feeling great but she was determined to have fun anyway! I love seeing my 4 little blessings together and ready to celebrate the 4th.

There are still times that Max just stands and takes it all in!
Max joined right in with the big kids and figured out how to do pops! He thought they were so much fun and would throw them and giggle and laugh!

These two are joined at the hip. They have so much fun together and when they are together we hardly know they are around!
Since there are fireworks stands minutes from our house Eric gets the job of picking out the firework for our show. Here he is getting everything ready! The show seems to get bigger and better every year.

Shane thought it was so much fun helping daddy light the big fireworks. I didn't get very many pictures of everyone watching, shooting off or the actual fireworks this year. The mosquitoes were awful this year. We had bug repellent bracelets on, my brother put a shield thing around us and we had and layers and layers of bug repellent on and we seemed still to get eaten.
We enjoyed the show we just wish those pesky mosquitoes would stay away!
